| 3rd International Meeting in Bickenbach (Germany)
A European partnership for cultural education in vocational training
It´s going on! The last project meeting of MANUCULTURA took place at Alnatura in the headquarters of the company in Bickenbach Germany. The partner meeting of the EU-funded project happened for the third time.
Alnatura introduced the art projects “Abenteuer Kultur” and “FilialART”. Sylvia Hathazy, stage director and responsible for the theater workshops, presented some examples of different theater projects done with apprentices of Alnatura.
Furthermore the EU-Partners had the chance to have a look behind the scenes. They saw the apprentices while they were rehearsing a dance theater play with lines from Kurt Schwitters.
FilialART was introduced in a practical and artistic way at one of the Alnatura Super Natural Markets. Natascha Böcker, consultant of the company and artist, offered practical and theoretical insights into FilialART. Under artistic direction, the FilialART-Team does arts for one week in an Alnatura Super Nature Market – while open for business. They present their artwork at a special event and exhibition at the end of that week.
Using art offers opportunities for personal development in the area of creativity, communication, social and emotional competencies.
With the implementation of MANUCULTURA, the five partner organizations are going to analyze how cooperation between professional training and school-based training can utilize the potential of cultural education.
The next project meeting will be at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Croatia in April 2016.
