The Museum of Contemporary Art hosted the 4th project meeting of partners of the project Manucultura. The meeting was held from 6th to 8th of April, 2016. The Director of the MSU Snježana Pintarić, who strongly supports this exceptional project, welcomed the partners and presented MSU institution history. The Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb was delighted to host the meeting at which we had the opportunity among other things, to present examples of good practice and welcome the partners of the project.
Art can change lives! That does not mean we are idealists, though; it has been proven by the results of many studies.
It is ‘only’ necessary to gain knowledge on oneself at a young age through learning about art, developing the habit of visiting exhibitions and museums, and becoming interested in culture. That way creativity is stimulated and personality is developed. This later becomes an advantage in everyday life and work, as those people are more successful in the professional field. These are the starting points of each of our workshops for students.
At the meeting we presented the workshops created as part of our educational and exhibition programme: Is This Art? Log in – Log out, Young People, Come to…
At the very beginning, we had fun at the workshop Art, Fun and Birthday Cake at the MSU, at which we also celebrated the birthday of our colleague Eva Kolm!
The next meeting is planned for September in Palermo (Italy).
